The useful question before drafting is not how many results a search returned. It is which parts of the intended claim scope are already occupied, and what should therefore be adjusted, reinforced, or avoided. This workflow is built to answer that.

Layer 2 — Common-law and public disclosure
Product pages, datasheets, standards, papers, open-source repositories, videos, reviews, forums, and web archives are searched and assessed separately from formal patent literature, because their date qualification has to be established differently.
Layer 3 — Utility and design tracks
Utility subject matter is assessed for novelty, non-obviousness, §101 and §112 exposure. Design subject matter is handled on its own track, with a reference design table, visible design features, and solid-versus-broken line strategy in the drawings.
Layer 4 — Decision-oriented output
The report states drafting direction, claim fallback levels, and where the specification needs reinforcement. Search strings and coverage are disclosed so the boundaries of what was and was not searched are explicit.
Common questions
How is this different from a standard patentability search?
A standard search returns references and a patentability opinion. This workflow adds the common-law and non-patent disclosure layer, and converts the findings into drafting instructions: which claim elements to move, what fallback positions to build in, and where the specification needs more support.
Does a search guarantee the application will be granted?
No. No search can be complete — unpublished applications alone make that impossible. The report states its coverage explicitly so you can see what was searched, and separates established findings from leads that still need corroboration.
